Willingway Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre, formally known as Willingway foundation ghana, is a specialised private health Treatment facility that provides excellent Services in the lives of Drug Users
The Organization was founded in the year 2011 in Ghana as a Rehabilitation centre for substance use disorders and mentally Challenged people.
The main aim of Willingway Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre is to achieve quality mental health Services in terms of Treatment and Rehabilitation to enable Patients live an independent and productive life.

Treatment Process

You will receive full details about the services that we render through enquiries, but the full intake and assessment process happen in our rehab. You may begin with inpatient detox and transition through the type of treatment you may need and the course you take depends on the severity of your condition.
Admissions
During admissions, our healthcare providers will explain to you our admissions contract, payment methods and services that we offer.Once you agree to our admission contract, you’ll get admitted and treatment starts off immediately
Intake
When you arrive at our facility, you’ll undergo a full health assessment. During this stage, our health professionals will ask about your history of substance abuse, relevant medical conditions and family life. You’ll also undergo a brief orientation that introduces you to our facility’s rules and policies.
Length of Treatment
The duration of substance abuse rehabilitation varies based on several factors, including the severity of your condition, the specific substances involved, and whether there are any co-occurring mental health disorders. Generally, treatment lengths can range from a minimum of 90 days to a maximum of 180 days.

Expert Support for Those Seeking Assistance

DETOX
Detoxification is usually the first step of substance abuse treatment that a person receives. Detox involves slowly reducing drug use in a safe and secure health care setting. During inpatient detox, you’ll be medically monitored around-the-clock. Detoxification seeks to minimize the withdrawal symptoms to ensure safe treatment.
INPATIENT SERVICES
Inpatient servicesinclude stays at specialized rehab centres, hospitals or residential facilities. The facilities provide a broad range of services that usually begin with detox. After detox, you’ll attend individual and group therapy sessions while living at the facility. You may also receive medication-assisted treatment or other complementary treatments depending on the facility and your condition
OUTPATIENT SERVICES
Outpatient services at Willingway.
In contrast to inpatient or partial hospitalization program, outpatient treatment is considered to be less restrictive, This allows more flexibility for work and life needs, as well as an opportunity to readjust into the world with support. Outpatient treatmentat at Willingway is a helpful option for individual with a mild substance use disorder, it can also be part of a long-term treatment program.
Outpatient program at Willingway also focus on relapse prevention, psychoeducation, individual, and group counseling; teaching recovery skills to help reduce relapse and promote long term recovery. Outpatient drug rehabilitation can last 3 to 6 months, similar to inpatient treatment, but can last for well over a year for more serious cases.
MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) increases the chances of recovery when used alongside evidence-based behavioral therapy. MAT is not a replacement for therapy, but it is an essential aspect of care for several types of drug addiction treatment.
THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES
Certain medications can help you overcome symptoms of withdrawal for some addictions. Others can help you overcome cravings that complicate recovery. Counseling and therapy can teach you how to cope with triggers and cravings, and you’ll learn about the underlying causes of addiction.
